Research journals

The University is associated with two research journals at present:

Practitioner Research in Higher Education

This refereed journal is produced by the University’s Centre for the Development and Enhancement of Professional Practice (CDEPP). It was established in order to develop research into reflective practice and to encourage both experienced and early career researchers to share their research with a wider academic audience.

Further information and the ability to search and review current and previous articles is available here

International Journal of History Teaching, Learning and Research

This refereed journal, supported by the University of Cumbria, acts as a focus for researchers across the world to explore practice in the teaching and learning of history in different national settings.

The Historical Association currently hosts the journal

TEAN Journals

Teacher Education Advancement Network Journal is a new online publication, specifically aimed at teacher educators with the intention of advancing research and scholarly activity across the sector. The journal is published by the Teacher Education Advancement Network (TEAN) and is designed to be a journal whose contributors will offer example and inspiration from their own practice and activity.
