Student accommodation provides excellent facilities for study and recreation. The halls are staffed by a team of Residential Co-ordinators who are responsible for the development of communities within the halls. Residential Co-ordinators work on a duty rota to provide overnight and weekend support. Domestic services staff clean the communal areas of the halls at least once a week during term time. Students are responsible for cleaning their own rooms, keeping communal areas tidy, daily rubbish removal and for doing their own washing up.
Each floor has a fitted kitchen with a cooker, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is either a breakfast bar or dining table provided
All residences are centrally heated and all water, light and heating costs are included in the rent. Heating and hot water systems operate in the mornings and evenings but not 24 hours a day.
You will need to provide – your own sheets, duvet, duvet cover, pillow, pillow cases, towels, tea towels, crockery, pot’s, pans, cutlery, cooking utensils, coat hangers and an iron ( ironing board provided) If you are in an en-suite room you will need to provide your own toilet rolls. Tenants with a TV are responsible for their licence and in all cases insurance of valuables is recommended.
Please note that all areas within the halls of residence are non-smoking.
Students with vehicles can park them behind the halls of residence but must purchase a parking permit.
