Future Teachers Programme

The Year 12 Future Teachers Programme allows students to explore the professional and exciting world of Teaching and what being a teacher is really all about.

It is the intention that the 3 strands of the programme (see below) are completed throughout Year 12 so the student has a clear HE progression route in time for the summer holidays!

The programme consists of:

 An Introduction Talk delivered to Year 12/1st Year students in June/July

On successful completion of the programme students will receive a guaranteed interview with us on one of our Institute of Education QTS courses, subject to them achieving the entry requirements with 16 UCAS points discretion.

Future Health Programme

Future Health allows students to explore the professional world of Nursing (Adult, Mental Health & Learning Disability), Occupational Therapy and Diagnostic Radiography.

The programme consists of:

 An Introduction Talk delivered to Year 12/1st Year students in June/July

 *it is anticipated that these sessions will take place from 5:30pm – 7:00pm at the University of Cumbria

 On successful completion of the programme students will receive a guaranteed interview with us, subject to them achieving the entry requirements.
