What are Student Ambassadors?

Student ambassadors work primarily for the UK recruitment team and support on a wide range of events. These can include working on primary school visits to the University, helping on the large University open days in the summer or going to schools to attend careers fairs. You may also be asked to work for other departments within External Relations. Even better, you get paid for all the work that you do!

Student Mentoring

If you like being a Student Ambassador, why not be a student mentor?

Student mentors work in school with a small group of Year 9 students. You plan and deliver five in school sessions on a range of issues including finance or student life. The final session is a campus visit for the students that you have working with. Along with a partner mentor you will deliver five in school sessions as well as a campus visit here at the university.
