The APM Project Fundamentals Qualification, formerly known as the APM Introductory Certificate, is designed to provide participants with an awareness of the fundamental principles of project management. This course is delivered in accordance with the Association for Project Management’s Body of Knowledge and covers the syllabus for the APM Project Fundamentals examination.

Duration: Two days
Delivery format: Traditional or virtual classroom

Who is it for?

This course is suitable for all professionals who are new to work package or project management, or those who require an insight into project management in order to fulfil a role as a project team member.

I was really surprised at how effective the course was given it was online. I actually found it to be better than the classroom environment as often there are more assertive people and you don’t get chance to express your ideas as well. The online course meant you had to virtually put your hand up to speak so people weren’t talking over each other. There was also the chat function which I’m sure was a big benefit to those who aren’t as confident in speaking and there were many activities where you provided written responses. The course was varied and used different methods such as group work, activities on screen etc. Which allowed all individual learning styles to be catered for. George was very knowledgeable and prepared us for the exam really well. There was also the benefit of having the sessions recorded to watch back.
