Situated at the centre of Ambleside Campus, The Barn has outstanding views over the campus and the Lake District. This space is perfect for socialising and grabbing a bite between classes. We offer a wide range of hot and cold grab and go options including, sandwiches, snacks, cakes and desserts, as well as hot and cold drinks. Vending machines are available outside of normal opening hours.
Toilets: Toilet facilities, including disabled access toilets are at the rear of the foyer area (to the right of the lift).

Situated inside the Millet Building on Ambleside Campus, “The Struggle” is so name after the iconic Kirkstone Pass, famously known for its steepness. This space is the perfect social area, dedicated to students, and somewhere you can meet your friends on an evening. We serve a selection of bottled beers, wines, soft drinks, and snacks. There is a pool table, SKY Television, and free Wi-Fi. The Bar Committee arranges a number of social events such as quiz nights and pool contests.
Toilets: Toilets are on the ground floor of the Millet Building.
Term Time Opening Hours: Monday, Wednesday & Friday 18.30pm – 23.00pm.
Situated to the left of the Reception in the Main Building, this is the ideal social area after a day in the workshop or practising your craft. There is a wide range of cold grab and go style food and drinks, a wide selection of homemade cakes and confectionery, as well as Starbucks coffee. There is a lift to the first floor and the facilities are wheelchair friendly.
Toilets: Toilet facilities, including disabled access toilets, are available on the first floor of the Main Building.

Situated on the ground floor of Skiddaw Building, this is the perfect social area for catching up with friends over a coffee and a cake. We offer a wide selection of hot food, including breakfast, paninis, jacket potatoes, a deli bar, as well as a selection of pastries and home-made cakes. Additionally, there are grab and go options available. You may also purchase hot and cold drinks at our on-campus Starbucks coffee shop.

Whilst on Lancaster Campus why not visit The View? Located on the top floor of the Lancaster Gateway Building, The View is wheelchair friendly and accessible via the stairs or life. This outlet is aptly named for it's outstanding views across Morecambe Bay. It offers a large seating area where you can relax whilst on campus.
The View offers a wide range of grab and go style food including, soup, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, as well as Starbucks coffee.

At Cafe Martineau, you can enjoy a selection of delicious hot and cold snacks, as well as a selection of cakes and pastries. We supply sandwiches, baked potatoes, paninis, hot and cold drinks, as well as a selection of other grab and go food. Meet your friends and colleagues to enjoy the indoor and outdoor seating areas. The café is on the ground floor and is wheelchair friendly.
Toilets: Toilet facilities, including disabled access toilets, are available. They are accessible via Café Martineau or via an external door opposite the Humanities Building.

Need somewhere to grab a quick coffee between lectures? Why not visit the Starbucks outlet, based in Gateway, ground floor, which serves hot and cold drinks, alongside a variety of grab and go style snacks to keep you going throughout the day.
