Short course - APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)

The APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ) is an internationally recognised qualification that aims to cement and expand the knowledge of project managers and other professionals working in a project environment.

The qualification provides a broad understanding of all elements within project management including stakeholder engagement and communication, procurement, scheduling, risk, and requirements management.

As of September 2024, new content exploring sustainability, professionalism and ethics has also been introduced in line with the APM Competency Framework.

Course Overview

This course provides an in-depth overview of the skills and knowledge underpinning the project management profession in alignment with the APM Competency Framework and Body of Knowledge.

Facilitated by highly experienced tutors, either online or in-person, the APM PMQ is delivered over six days (two blocks of three days), with the 2.5 hour exam taken online following completion of the course.

The course covers a broad range of fundamental project management topics, from governance and assurance, to planning and scheduling, and managing risk and quality.
