Have you lost touch with your uni friends? How long has it been since you have seen your classmates? When was the last time you were back on campus? Feeling nostalgic and want to reminisce about your student days with those who lived them with you?
Here’s how we can help with your reunion planning...
Alumni database
We hold a database of over 70,000 alumni containing data from graduates from the 1940s to the present day across all our campuses and legacy institutions. Whilst we may not have up-to-date email addresses for each and every graduate, we have a good number from most year groups! If you wish to be put in touch with fellow graduates we can try to help.

Cumbria Network – Have you joined Cumbria Network? Our networking and mentoring database exclusively for University of Cumbria (and legacy institution graduates) has a searchable directory where you can contact fellow graduates directly. See if your friends have joined HERE.
Event promotion
We can send an email to everyone in your year group to advertise your reunion. We can also include your reunion details in our monthly newsletter. Whether you are holding your event on or off campus, we want to help you reunite!
We have our own Alumni Association social media channels so we can include your event here as well as promoting it on Cumbria Network.
We want to shout about your event, just drop us a line and let us know what you are planning. Let’s get as many people there as possible!
On-campus events
Did you know that you can hire an event space on campus? Whether you would like to book an evening dinner event, space for dancing, an informal get-together or a conference, we might just have the space for you.
Alumni receive 10% discount on all event room bookings.
Campus catering
We have a range of menu options, depending on the type of event you wish to have and the campus; from buffet sandwiches, tea and coffee with a cake or a full formal dinner, our campus catering teams may be able to help you create your dream event. To discuss menu options, get in touch.
Accommodation bookings
We let out our student accommodation on a two-night minimum basis during the summer months when not in use by our students. We have a range of en-suite and non en-suite single rooms with use of kitchen and living room areas. All rooms are fully equipped with bedding, towels and wifi access.
A stay in your old student halls will certainly add to the reunion experience!
FREE campus tours
Whether as part of a larger event, or simply a small afternoon group visit, even if you just wish to visit on your own, we LOVE meeting our alumni on campus. Free campus tours are offered, subject to availability of staff, on weekdays 9-5. Tours must be booked in advance. Get in touch!
Alumni open days
Alumni open days are a new tradition for us. Last year we opened up the Ambleside campus especially for our alumni of any year group, allowing our graduates to have a reunion with the campus and chance to reminisce.
This year (2024) we are holding an Alumni Open day at Lancaster on Saturday 31 August. The event is open to anyone who has an affinity with the campus. Enjoy a campus tour, chance to chat to staff and students, look at old photos and memorabilia and meet fellow alumni. Find out more and book for our FREE event here.
Advice
We have many years of experience in helping alumni to reunite.
