University of Cumbria Project Academy
The University of Cumbria Project Academy provides education, training and development for people working in a projects.
Collaborating with leading employers including Sellafield Ltd, BAE Systems, the BBC and the NHS, we have developed a wide-ranging portfolio of project management programmes.
Our products range from short courses focusing on the fundamental principles of project management, to undergraduate and postgraduate courses that equip our students with the skills and experiences to deliver successful projects and lead high-performing teams.
Led by our specialist lecturing team bringing real-world project experience from IT, engineering, financial services, health, nuclear, armed forces and transport management, our courses can be delivered online or in-person at various locations across the UK.

This two-day course provides participants with the understanding, tools and techniques for managing internal and external stakeholders in the project environment. Participants will engage with a variety of interactive exercises focusing on implementing a stakeholder strategy, exploring the theory and practices of effective communication, negotiation and escalation whilst also building skills in critical reflection to apply learning directly to the workplace environment.
