This event is your chance to learn about our highly respected PGCE provision, designed to equip you with the essential skills, knowledge, and experience needed to become a confident and inspiring teacher.

We’ll take you through the core components of our course, which blends practical, hands-on experience with academic theory. You’ll dive into topics like child development, classroom management, lesson planning, and strategies for supporting diverse learners. Additionally, we’ll explore the critical role teachers play in overcoming educational disadvantage and raising aspirations.

With more than half the course spent on assessed placements, you'll gain valuable experience working in real classrooms. You'll undertake three placements in a variety of school settings, ensuring that by the end of the course, you'll have built the confidence and practical skills necessary for a successful career in teaching.
