This small scale research investigated an experiment with an innovative way of embedding a University programme in a school. The inquiry investigated this unique experiment, focusing on project evaluation as seen by key stakeholders. As the political climate surrounding teacher education in England changed rapidly since the start of the project, the research project took on a new dimension in that it is offered as a source of interest for those endeavouring to forge successful partnerships between schools and HEIs (Higher Education Institutions). Findings and recommendations suggest ways of working towards successful partnership between schools and universities.
