Emilie is from Svelvik, Norway. She chose to study with the University of Cumbria because “I fell in love with the location of the Ambleside campus.”
Emilie says, “I have always had a strong interest in the outdoors and in outdoor activities. A course that would lead me on a route where I would be able to show others how much the outdoors has to offer seemed perfect.

“During my time here I have been able to go on several fieldtrips outside of campus, because of the nature of my course most of these have been outdoor activity based. What will she miss most about university life? “Always having people around me that have the same interests as me. Wanting company on an adventure and having a variety of people that I can ask to come with me very close by is great!”
