Biography

As a passionate advocate for digital enhancement and community outreach, I bring a unique blend of expertise in simulation development and educational leadership. Currently serving as the Principal Lecturer in Undergraduate Programmes at the Institute of Education, Arts and Society, I am dedicated to fostering an inclusive and innovative learning environment. My previous role as the Simulation Development Lead at the Institute of Health honed my skills in creating immersive learning experiences, while my current trustee position at the Rosehill Theatre allows me to actively contribute to the cultural enrichment of my community. My experience includes leading curriculum development, implementing digital enhancements for better learning outcomes, and advocating for reasonable adjustments to support disability and neurodivergence. I have directed the development of simulation-based learning tools, collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to enhance training programs, and promoted the use of XR technologies to create immersive learning experiences. My dedication to leveraging technology aims to improve living and learning experiences, particularly for individuals with disabilities and neurodivergence. Additionally, my commitment to community outreach drives my efforts to make cultural and educational opportunities accessible to all. I am always open to connecting with like-minded professionals and exploring opportunities to contribute to innovative and inclusive initiatives.
