Biography

I grew up in Spain before returning to the UK for University in 2007.

I achieved my BSc(Hons) from Southampton in 2010, before moving to Norwich and obtaining my PGCE(M) in 2011. I then returned to Southampton Uni for my MSc in 2012.

Vocationally, I joined the British Red Cross as an ECA in 2014 and worked on contracts with SCAS and SECAmb, before joining SCAS on the South Coast as a trainee AAP in 2017.

I qualified as a paramedic in 2019 where I took an interest in urgent care and completed a level 7 module in Minor Injuries and Illness. I left the ambulance service full-time in 2022 to focus on freelance work, where I gained experience in event first aid, international repatriations, high dependency transfers, and paediatric and neonatal transfers including the Southampton-Oxford Neonatal Transfer network and the South Thames Retrieval Service.

I returned to SCAS in 2023 to fill the role of Hospital-Ambulance Liaison Officer at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Portsmouth.

I’m looking forward to working with you throughout your apprenticeship degree and guiding you to become the best paramedics you can be.
