Lisa Muirhead

Biography

I graduated in 2017 from the University of Cumbria with a first class degree in Children's Nursing. Since qualifying I have trained to become a Clinical Leader in Paediatric Emergency care in a local Emergency Department. I am trained in advanced paediatric life support and completed training to become the departmental Safeguarding Supervisor and link nurse for sepsis. I hope to complete my masters degree in acute care of children.

My research interests include the impact of trauma on nurses working in emergency care, paediatric sepsis, bereavement and care after death in children
