Muhammad Ahsan

Biography

I joined the University of Cumbria Institute of Business, Industry and Leadership as a lecturer Accounting and Finance in 2018. Since moving to academia, I have worked in both conventional face-to-face and distance learning environments in the UK Higher Education. Over the years, I have taught a wide range of modules both at undergraduate and postgraduate level and have been actively involved in the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students’ dissertation and act as a personal tutor.

I am an experienced exam writer of accounting and finance modules in the contexts of both UK and Malaysia higher education. In addition, I have worked as a module leader to design module contents, learning materials and study programmes which enhance the learning experience to maximise achievement and outcomes as well as developing employability skills.

My current role also involves undertaking operational planning for the department, including student recruitment quality assurance, accreditation, timetabling and placement of work.
