Biography
I work as a Senior Lecturer in Academic Development for the Centre for Academic Practice at the University of Cumbria. My background is in literary studies, but I've taught and supervised in a variety of related areas, from creative writing to research skills and impact in practice. I'm particularly interested in the rich relationship between research and teaching practice. I've worked on projects involving mentorship; postgraduate and early career training and mentoring; and transition experiences in HE.
