Biography
Tasneem is currently seeking to undertake a Masters in Education with the University of Cumbria. Her current research activity involves the submission of an abstract for a chapter in a forthcoming book titled, 'Creative Religion & Worldviews Education for Early Years & Primary (3-11) SEND Learners.' Tasneem is also a member of the EDIW monitoring group at the University of Cumbria.
Before joining the University of Cumbria, Tasneem completed a research project as part of her National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL) titled, 'The impact of learning experiences on the quality of writing outcomes across the curriculum.' She engaged with CPD opportunities including training in a reading ‘deep dive’ with OfSTED, qualifiying as an end of key stage 2 writing moderator for The London Borough of Redbridge with the Standards and Testing Agency (STA). She has also worked as an English Lead (including a consultancy role to other schools within the local area of Redbridge), STA Writing Moderator and Lower Key Stage 2 lead in primary schools in Bolton, Manchester and East London. As part of her role as an ITT lead, Tasneem supported universities across East London with intensive teaching and practice programmes as well as mentoring trainee teachers and leading mentors.
