An entry level introductory programme that provides a gentle but useful introduction to Project Management and also study at University level. The programme is ideally suited to persons working alongside project professionals who wish to gain a better understanding of what projects are and how they might differ from other work activities.

Course Structure

What you will learn

The programme will introduce you to industry standard terminology associated projects and their delivery. The content is linked to the Association for Project Management Body of Knowledge so you can be assured that you are developing knowledge and understanding that is relevant to a range of working environments.

Year one

This short course includes a single module with a single assessment, taught one day per week over 4 weeks with the assessment taking place on the final afternoon, the course provides a useful introduction to Project Management and Higher Education.

    With content aligned to the APM's latest version of their Body of Knowledge, this module provides an overview of industry standard project management terminology.
