What you will learn

The programme provides opportunities for you to develop and demonstrate the following:
After 60 credits of study (UADip) you will be able to demonstrate understanding of:


  • The evidence, theories and policy drivers that underpin decision-making and judgement in holistic practice.

  • The professional, ethical and legal perspectives relating to practice, incorporating sensitivity to diversity and cultural issues.

  • The need for and constraints of developing reflective practice, managing change and of multi-professional working including concepts and frameworks for transformative reflection, collaborative and partnership working.

Modules

Your programme will include content which is relevant to the world of work, emphasising problem-solving and the interaction of theory and practice. It will challenge you intellectually, promoting independence and confidence (University of Cumbria, Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy [LTA]).
