Course Structure

What you will learn

Drawn from the Paramedic: Practice Development Programme, this module will enable you to develop your knowledge and skills in clinical decision making in relation to the assessment and care management of patients/clients through contemporary paramedic practice.

Modules

The module adopts a problem-based learning approach and explores the application of theories and frameworks to clinical decision making in practice; the principle of critical thinking skills, evidence-based practice and audit.

Teaching staff will determine the topics which may change over the duration of the module due to the dynamic nature of emergency care.
