University Award - Hotel General Management

Offered as a one-week residential course at our Ambleside campus this programme focuses on key management areas of strategic thinking and decision making, sustainable supply chain management and your impact on the long term vision of your organisation.

Key features include:

Contextualised Learning and Industry Engagement – The course is delivered at Ambleside by academic and industry experienced staff. Guest lectures and site visits are embedded into programme of study and case study material is directly linked to industry.

Contextualised Assessment – All assessment is designed for real world application, utilising subject specific ‘toolkits’ and frameworks that can be considered in the context of your own work experience.

International Recognition – The programme has been mapped against the City and Guilds Hotel General Manager Badge providing you with a university award and international recognition as a leader of industry.

1st or 2nd class honours degree plus a minimum of 2 years relevant industry experience is required. Applications are subject to the completion of a successful interview with the Programme Leader.

Tuition Fees Policy

Tuition fees are set annually and are subject to review each year. The University may therefore raise tuition fees in the second or subsequent years of a course, in line with inflation and/or the maximum permitted by law or government policy. Students will be notified of any changes as soon as possible.
