3-year diploma holders with average marks of 80 who have at least one year’s relevant work experience.

Please note that students who have studied at one of the following can not normally be considered: Employee’s College/University; Night College; Radio and Television College/University; The Party’s College/University; Correspondence College/University. Such students would need additional qualifications and experience.

4-year degree holders with grades above 70 from the following universities: Tsinghua University, Peking University, Zhejiang University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Wuhan University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Jilin University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhongshan University, Sichuan University, Shandong University, University of Science and Technology of China, Harbin Institute of Technology, Southeast University, Zhongnan University, Tianjin University, Tongji University, South China University of Technology.

4-year degree holders, in relevant subject area, with average marks of 75 or above.

4-year degree holders, in unrelevant subject area, with average marks of 75 or above with relevant work experience.

Students with marks above 60 in self-study degree examination can also be considered. They will usually be topping up a diploma whilst working.

Students who have done Adult Education qualifications would need marks above 80, check work experience.

Integrated Foundation Year entry requirements

4 Es in HKCEE (ended in 2010) or 48 UCAS points or 333 in HKDSE, or students after secondary 5 with 50% (pass) in both years 4 and 5 and 55% in specialised subject.

Undergraduate entry requirements

HKAL or HKDSE -take all core and elective subjects from category A as well as applied learning from category B as long as they have enough UCAS points.

Ontario:

• High School Diploma/Graduation Certificate with 50% average across 6 grade 12 subjects, at least four of which should be University Preparation Courses (denoted by 4U) (or AP/IB class). The other two courses could be University/College Preparation Courses (denoted by 4U/4M/4C) (or AP/IB class).

Quebec:

• Students in government high schools in Quebec only do 11 years of High school then go on to do a Pre-university course.
• Collège d'enseignement général et professionnel (CÉGEP) takes 2 years to complete OR Diploma of College Studies (DCS)/ Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) takes 3 years to complete.
• One year of pre-university with an average of 60%. Or Two years of pre-university with an average of 60% in year 2 (year 1 does not need calculated).

Quebec: The Diplome d'Etudes Collgiales (DEC) awarded after two years of study at a 'college d'enseignement general et professionnel' (CEGEP) is acceptable and is marked on a percentage scale with 60% as the lowest pass mark.

Between provinces the percentage grades differ however the range is generally 80%-100%=A, 65% - 79% = B, 50% - 64% = C (except in Ontario and Manitoba where 50% - 59% = D, but this is still regarded as a pass).
