University of Cumbria Guide to Student Finance
In our Student Finance hub, you'll find all the information you need about funding your higher education at the University of Cumbria. We have a wide range of scholarships, bursaries, grants, and funds available to support you throughout your studies, no matter what course you study or discipline you specialise in.
Our hub includes information on how to apply for student finance, upcoming application deadlines, and information about funding further higher education like PGCE, masters, and doctoral studies
For students requiring extra financial support, see our Cumbria Bursary. This is a non-repayable bursary designed to support first-year students with a household income of less than £25,000.
Note for Apprentices: If you are studying an apprenticeship, you are paid a wage from your employer which covers your living costs. Apprentices based in England are not eligible for loans from Student Finance England. Apprentices from Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland should contact their student finance organisation to establish current eligibility regarding student finance.
