Event Overview

Whether or not to arrest someone is one of the most important and vital decisions a Police Officer has to make.  It can be a very dynamic and confrontational process, has a direct impact the effectiveness of an investigation, and may have a profound effect on the arrested person's life.  It is a decision that a Police Officer may have to make every time that they are on duty.  This session is designed to introduce attendees to the concept and complexities of a lawful arrest, with a 'look forward' to how the process can affect and enhance an investigation.
