Biography

I have been teaching in Higher Education for the past 5 years while completing a PhD on the impact of fuel poverty and dementia in Scotland.

Previously, as an ASPIRE lecturer I taught as part of a cross instiutional teaching team, designing and implemeting an Academic, Professional and Personal Development (APPD) curriculum, to support lead and develop learners into, throughout and beyond university. 

Within CAPE, I work within a team of academic developers and learning technologists to design, develop and deliver a range of staff development to support learning and teaching across the university. I am the programme leader for the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice.
